At Vitruvian Surgical Institute, we are proud of our in-office surgical suite located in the heart of Coral Springs, across from The Walk and minutes from Coral Springs Medical Center.
Operating Room
Our operating suite is licensed, regulated, and inspected annually by the Florida Department of Health.
Anesthesia Care
Anesthesia for surgical procedures is provided by our team of board certified nurse anesthetists, who for most procedures utilize IV sedation similar to what you would receive with a colonoscopy, avoiding the need for a breathing tube. By having a dedicated anesthesia provider during your case, your health is closely monitored during your surgery so that Dr. Carpenter is dedicated to your best possible results.
Local Procedures
In addition to surgeries performed in our surgical suite, small procedures like ‘lumps and bumps’ removal, upper blepharoplasty, lip lift, buccal fat pad removal, TCA peels, and more can be performed as ‘local’ procedures - where the patient is awake for the procedure and local numbing medication is given to prevent any discomfort. If desired, an oral anxiety and pain prescription can be given beforehand to make these procedures even more comfortable.
Clean Air
Our office utilizes the medical grade IQ-Air HealthPro Plus XE air purification system to ensure that our air is clear of particles of all sizes, including allergens, bacteria, dust, viruses, volatile organic compounds, gases, and odors - to make your visit as safe and comfortable as possible.
